The toy store is down to their last few days. If you need fixtures it is a great time to get them at a great price.

Saturday January 25 Precious Treasures is sponsoring a crop that is a fundraiser for a church building fund. There are 68 ladies signed up and you know when they crop they take breaks to go shopping. Lets hope it is a good weekend for everyone. I f you are running any sales or have fliers bring them to Precious Treasures and they will stuff bags with them.

Any news on when Bargain Mart will be open?

Do not forget we are all to have coupons to Tim by the end of the month for the event at Mahoney State Park. Also the Welcome Center has requested coupons.

THE WORD "OUTLETS" WILL BE ADDED TO THE WATER TOWER

Randy said that it was approved to add the word "outlets" to the water tower. It will be put on two sides so it can be seen from both directions on the interstate. They will start work on it as soon as we have 50 degree weather. See photo below.

There is a web site I had found that is not affiliated with Nebraska Crossing or First Management. It is www.mallseeker.com which has the most up to date information I have found when searching for Nebraska Crossing information. There is still a lot that is incorrect or outdated. Please check your store information on the site to see if it is correct. If not go to the bottom of their website under "contact" and email them your information. We want people to be able to find our mall if they are travelling to the area or live in the area.

Home Decor and More signed their lease

Tim stated that Home Decor and More has signed their lease and has their keys. They will be moving into the bay that Mikasa once leased. Let your customers know it is coming so they can be checking back at the mall often to watch for it.

Mall Marketing Meeting

• All stores wanting to participate in the Mahoney State Park Valentines event are to have coupons to Tim by the end of January. (140)

• The Welcome Center has requested coupons from stores that they can give out to visitors.

• Discussion of ads and coupon sheets. Tim is looking for ideas to get an email list going. Suggestions were to give away Mall Gift Certificates or prizes to get people to sign up. We could do a web site for people to sign up and once they sign up they are sent bonus coupons as a reward.

• New Business': The Mexica restaurant is on hold. The The Polka Dot Giraffe has opened next to Osh Kosh. They sell handbags, Webkins, jewelry and soon will be adding Peggy Karr. Bargain Mart will hope to open at the end of January. They will sell tool and also home items.
